Whats odd is that THIS product has a cable safety attached to it. No idea why or what that is even for. This head assembly looks similar in design to the 41500 but no base or goose neck attached this. Interesting in that the utility hood can be turned to let out a huge volume of white light from bulb if needed flood work area.

I'm taking a stab here its Grimes product am told has made cockpit light or two at one time another. Grimes 28 Volt DC Aircraft Cockpit Map or Utility Light with Red Lens - no p/n, One interesting military aircraft cockpit utility map reading light. Glass is good. Ships inexpensively via USPS Ground Advantage unless you request otherwise.

Metal frame - black crinkle paint and its fairly large. I have never had opportunity to play with a 415 so this might be the head assembly of stripped one. No bulb inside this one. There is however a piece of plastic with connector end that was probably the wiring for single pole bulb.

Of the Grimes products, they'd made a series 41500 hooded map reading or utility light as mounted to goose neck. Hood in good shape. That's loose and rolling around in there. But this is an oddity in that theres no inked p/n on it or stamped into the case.

Nice big piece of red glass. When the utility hood is turned I can see theres no bulb in this one. What you see in picture series is what get.
