The Ryan Navion Model 4-1982 is powered by a Continental IO-520-K engine, delivering a robust 300 horsepower. This engine provides the aircraft with a cruising speed of around 175 miles per hour and a maximum range of approximately 1,000 nautical miles. The aircraft is equipped with a retractable tricycle landing gear, ensuring smooth takeoffs and landings while also reducing drag during flight for improved fuel efficiency.

Inside the cabin, the Ryan Navion Model 4-1982 offers a comfortable and spacious environment for its two occupants. The seating is adjustable, allowing for optimal comfort during long flights. The cockpit is equipped with modern avionics, including a Garmin G500 avionics suite, offering advanced navigation and flight information displays. The aircraft also features a large baggage compartment, providing ample space for luggage or equipment.

The Ryan Navion Model 4-1982 is renowned for its exceptional handling and stability. The design of the aircraft, with its high wing and semi-monocoque construction, provides excellent visibility and maneuverability. Details:

The photos also show that there is an extra wing flap included. And I did not see any serious damage mentioned in the logs. The photos of project show nose gear extended and main retracted.

I am advertising this airplane for a friend who does not use computer. The airplane comes with engine and an extra that is missing one cylinder. The airplane was disassembled for movement there is no propeller with project.

I made a visual inspection of the airplane and it appears to be if pretty fair condition for its age. Also since it is a complete airplane, could be used as parts source. The logs are with this airplane and appear in better condition than most I have seen for an of vintage. I do not have an AP rating and little knowledge of Navion airplanes.

I did not see any indications that it had been kept near of salt water. However, it appears in very good condition for an airplane of its age. However, it appears to be the remnants of some sort sound proofing and is easily removed with no corrosion under. With the ailerons removed, I could see inside wings.

The airplane has a very old paint and it appears that spent most of its time on ramp, not angered. I saw no log indications of any serious damage such as gear-up landings, etc. The upper engine cowl parts and several fairings are inside fuselage. The logs for both engines are included.

I could see no corrosion where stringers were riveted to the wing skins. An is available to convert this airplane o-470 continental engine. Navion airplane project. All log books since 1969 are included.

The photos show some red areas on inside of sheet metal in cockpit that look a lot like rust. All major pieces of the airplane seem to be included. Registration number: n4982k model: a serial NR: nav date of mfg: 1949 total time shown in logs is 3145 hours last entry that I noticed this airplane project available only for local pick-up and cannot be shipped. I will say up front that have a lifetime of aviation experience with some time maintaining and servicing airplanes.

There may be usable or missing parts in this spare engine. I see no signs of any serious corrosion. Previous logs were lost.

This project appears to be in good structural condition.
